I know they both have different colors, the site says material differences, and they look like they fit slightly differently… I was wondering if anyone who owns them can tell if these are all the differences or if theirs anything else ?
The YS-02 are pretty interesting! Definitely not as squishy as the YS01/slides, but still pretty squishy… most of it definitely has to do with how the YS-02 doesn’t use the huge teeth/wave tread which gives it more give/squish. Instead, they use a tight mini wave tread which makes these a lot better for not slipping.
Both of these are size 9. Sizing is interesting, the YS-01 fits me perfectly to the point a size 8 would be too small… the YS02 I probably could go size 8 but not sure how much toe room I’d have. The big difference is how the YS-01 has basically a mini guard/wall around your foot which really defines where the foot should be, these are more “open concept” with subtle elevation differences that define where the foot should be… which gives extra leeway to going an extra size down. I don’t think I’d go a size down since due to the lack of guard/walls around them, I don’t want my toes at the actual edge where it’d be easy to hit them off a step/uneven side walks. It looks like I have about an inch from my toes to the edge and about an inch to heals to edge, which does make me very curious how a size 8 would be… but once again subtle elevation wise they seem perfect and where my feet should be. I can force slide my foot to the actual edge/tip of them, so a size down makes me curious how much tighter the top strap would be. While walking it’s fine though and my feet don’t just slide up. As you can see, absolute tip to bottom they are pretty much the same
The size 11 ys02 is about an inch longer than the size 9… do with that as you want
Overall very happy with these, I almost feel like these are the slides you wear around the pool/inside while the YS01 are better for traveling
I ordered them back on Jan 2026 with the BL-01, still no update for those, but I got these! I got the shipment notification on 4/16/26, said YunExpress. Since then, the status on Yun never updated past “received shipment information”. I got a GOFO notification today about a shipment, thinking it was the YS-02 (which still does say it supposed to come tomorrow), and so I was surprised to get a notification today about something arriving. Turns out, it was the SL-03!!! Unlike the SL-01 and SL-02, these actually impressed me a good bit! The design is actually pretty interesting to see in person, good construction, and decently warm…although they are just rubber boots. I will def use these as rain boots. Cushing is more on par with every other pair or regular boots, like it’s solid but nothing to write home about. Got a size 8, I wear 9.5 in 350s and 9 in 700s, and honestly 8 fits perfect! I have some space but for boots I prefer some space. They do smell like nail polish remover, but that’s ok.
Overall, they feel great walking around in and look way cooler than expected!
It just hit me… I feel like I don’t really hear people getting mad and venting about enemies… rather it’s usually their teammates. Even enemies who are clearly using something for better aiming.. people seem to shrug it off.
Meanwhile Fortnite people get mad because “this guy and his shot gun” or cod “this camper” or halo “he sniped me again” or the finals “this light class” or pubg “bro this guy and is sniper”
Like idk the last time i heard a teammate rage about the enemy… and for what i can tell it isn’t even a BR exclusive thing?

Axle is probably the strangest legend yet and really messes with the games identity.
Her passive is perfect.
Her tact is really weird and feels like it should’ve been an item or a grenade type rather than an ability. People point out how a Gibby/new castle/life line shield can be used by the enemy or a jump pad ect…. but Axles tact feels like it’s used by enemies 10x more often that any of those. When she’s in a fight, the entire fight speeds up with both teams ending up zooming around using it. I’d say more than 50% of my fights with an Axle team ends up with us using it as much as them. I’d be very interested in seeing a stat for this. I’m not surprised they are considering making ranked solo que only, since really only super coordinated teams can use her tact while minimizing the enemy use of it. More times than not, her tact feels less like an advantage for your team and more like an LTM that makes the fight feel speedy and weird. It’s like you’re playing regular apex and then you fight an Axle team and it feels like a strange mini game.
Her ult… is actually broken and I’m not sure how they can nerf it. It falls under the same poor ability design issue as Revs ult and Ballistics tact, it’s either way too OP or way too situational/every so often it guarantees a kill.
She really messes with the games identity in that every time I’m fighting someone, both have cover, and just trading shots, and she can just chuck that at them to get the knock and it feels so completely broken. At least with fuse and Maggie you can reposition quickly… meanwhile with her you really can’t do much unless you can shoot it fast enough… and even then it’s a distraction and she can push while your aiming at it. The amount of times I’m fighting someone, I make a mistake and they have high ground… I can just throw that at them and get the knock. It’s insane. Her kit is great… if apex wasn’t a BR. BRs by default put a lot of emphasis on positioning and playing smart, it’s what makes them fun. She feels anti BR since she can just invalidate good positioning.
I get it they want to try speeding up apex… but they seem to be forgetting it’s a BR first. Playing positions and winning is what makes ranked fun.. and it seems they’d rather everyone just kill grind and play it like cod/pubs/mixtape/wildcard
In a lot of ways she feels like she should be a limited time legend rather than a permanent one.

Honestly, I had buyers remorse after I bought them, but now that I see them in hand… I’m happy I got them!
Theyre actually very interesting, the holes really bring a lot of character and do function very well… toes still get sweaty but everything else was breathing fine! That mid sole really is crazy thick and super nice.

They’re surprisingly really comfortable.. the balance of them is a bit odd tho, I def would not play basketball in these you would def break your own ankles
Also wish the cut went a little lower, it digs into my foot/ankle/ball things a little bit… not so much when I scoot my foot all the way forward, but does happen when walking
They do seem like great water shoes though
Are they worth the price? Maybe should’ve been $10 cheaper…but at the same time, what shoes Arnt over priced?
One huge thing I like though… is the sock less feel of these is genuinely great, very smooth and silky feeling
If you live in PA near the city, call ahead and go scoop! The price was a bit steep for all 3… but better than resellers. Either get 1 piece from a reseller or get 3 for the same price from Dicks, just need to drive there.
