Could My Previous Batch Have Been Ineffective?

Has this issue come up for anyone else?

Example:
You use Reta consistently for 2–3 months, titrate up your dose, and experience zero side effects. Then you buy from a different place. You continue at the same dose you were using with the first place (or titrate up based on your schedule), and suddenly you get full‑blown side effects because, unknown to you, the batch from the original place may not have been pure or may not have been effective.

My Situation:
This is where I’m at, and I’m a little concerned. I’m currently at 5 mg of Reta and have been at this dose for 5 weeks. I’m about to titrate up to 6 mg using a new vial from a different source.

From my starting dose of 2 mg up to 5 mg, I’ve been using the same place with zero side effects and only about 7 lbs lost in 2 months (roughly a pound a week). I’m lifting heavy 5 times a week, doing daily cardio, staying in a 200–300 calorie deficit, and eating 150–200 g of protein per day. So I’m wondering if the earlier batch wasn’t very effective and my weight loss has just been from my training and diet.

I’m switching because I found a better price for my Reta, and the Tesa/Ipa blend I got from them is definitely real — I experienced the typical early side effects like carpal tunnel sensations, water retention, etc., and my smart ring showed improved sleep during that time.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced something like this or if I’m overthinking it.

Hi All!

I just started my 3rd week of Tesa/IPA. Got the 10/3 blend and was doing 1mg/300mcg 5 days on 2 days off.

Due to recent finances, cannot afford Tesa and was thinking of switching to CJC/IPA blend.

Was looking at the 5mg/5mg vial at 250mcg each. Same schedule, 5 days on 2 days off starting next week.

Any reported issues with the switch? Anything to look out for? Appreciate the feedback!
