This was an early British attempt at an active protection system. Basically it is a miniature CIWS with a built in radar and two machine guns inside of a small turret. The radar would detect an incoming missile and attempt to shoot it down automatically with the machine guns. Probably not as effective as Drozd but it would be nice to see NATO get an APS in game.

This would improve the realism and also allow the devs to add some new variants which is always nice.

I would suggest something like

• T-64A/B = 15AV
• T-64BV (new build) = 17AV + ERA
• T-64BV (upgraded from T-64B) = 16AV+ERA
• T-80B = 16AV
• T-80BV (new build) = 18AV+ERA
• T-80BV (upgraded from T-80B) = 17AV+ERA
• T-80U/UD can stay where they are

Obviously prices and availability would need to change appropriately.
