Question for my fellow Zillenial emo’s 🖤
I’ve been seeing a trend going around lately on IG with millenials where they are saying “I’m a MySpace emo and you’re a tik tok emo we are not the same” but my question is for us older Gen z’s who remember the MySpace era but we’re too young to be apart of it but are also too old to be the tik tok emos, What are we? (Btw this isn’t that deep I’m just curious where we would stand)
Update: I think most of us have settled on tumblr emo and I really like this name! We are the tumblr emo’s 🖤🏴☠️🤘🏼

I’m seeing a lot of people on SM bringing back flip phones and it’s got me reminiscent on sidekicks and how much I used to want one! I wish they would make a comeback!
Did any other older Gen z want one so bad or have one back then? They were so cool 😭 The iPhone could never 😭

Any other older Gen Zers get annoyed by how much older generations morph us and the rest of Gen z together and think we’re all teens and know nothing about the 2000s or just me?
I know it’s not big deal but it’s become super annoying at this point when older generations especially millennials say gen z doesn’t know this or that and it’s literally something us older gen z definitely grew up with or know about! Like we were there too we lived the same era with y’all and grew up with a lot of the same things but to them Gen z is all young teens even though older Gen z is pushing 30 or is 30 now, it’s just a little annoying how it’s almost like we don’t exist to them.
