I swapped a 5 speed into my auto and ive noticed a vibration. I finally found what it was. My new one piece driveshaft is a little bit loose where it meets the transmission. Is there a bearing or anything there to keep the driveshaft straight? I keep looking up parts diagrams to see but all im finding is a seal.
I swapped my auto trans for a manual and now i have developed a vibration. It feels like the rear end but the steering wheel also vibrates. It only happens above 30mph and while under 60mph the vibration goes away under load. My wheels are balanced, driveshaft balanced and yolk spun each way, cv axles have no play, and my motor mounts and transmission mounts are good yet. Any clue how to diagnose further?
Hello, I recent did a manual swap on my z and everything went pretty well except now it has developed a pretty bad vibration. There wasnt one before the swap and its not my wheels or brakes for sure. Whenever im around 40mph if im not on the throttle the whole car will vibrate pretty good. Anything over 50 and wether im on the throttle or not it will vibrate. Any clue what this could be? The driveshaft is supposedly balanced and I have spun the yolk each way it can go.
