What to expect when selling a car privately

Hey all I’m about to list my car for sale, it’s 20 years old but I’ve basically rebuilt it and it’s worth more than what a dealership or cqrvana will give me for it. Especially to someone with like a new high school driver not in need of anything fancy but still wants something reliable.

I’m wondering what to expect, I’ve had this car for 13 years and bought it from my uncle.

Do people expect to test drive cars they buy on the open market? Should I go with them on that drive? Should I be armed for my safety or have someone with me?

I only plan on accepting a cashiers check or bank check, no cash or personal checks. Is it ok to sign the title over with that form of payment as it won’t bounce?

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

[Citizen Promaster NY004-50w] thoughts on full-lume dials?

Just picked this up as a daily-wear or semi-daily beater watch until I’m ready to move up in the $ world.

What do y’all think? Is it too big for a 7-7.25” wrist at 42mm?

I put it on a wide JB Komfit regular as the bracelet it came with was quite noisy and felt flimsy. Loving that decision so far! Super comfortable but still getting used to operating the clasp.

Near-term dream watch is a Tudor Pelagos blue in 42mm, can anyone speculate on the size comparison and if that’ll be too big? Might need to hit the Jim.

Many thanks, y’all are cool.

Thoughts on the Promaster NY004-50W

I think it’s sick! Thick 42mm on a wide JB Komfit original size because the bracelet felt noisy and a bit flimsy. Bought it as a semi-daily wear fun watch, cheers!
