I liked Grow a Garden but wanted a bigger Steam version, so I’m making Gardenhood
I’ve been working on a game called Gardenhood for the past 9 months. It’s a cute little gardening game where you have your own little plot, but it sits next to other players’ gardens in a shared island lobby.
I wanted it to feel a bit like living in a small garden neighborhood instead of being completely alone on a farm. You can work on your own space, walk over and see what other people are building, chat, fish, decorate your house, and just hang out.
The Steam demo is available now. It has gardening, fishing, gathering, mining, chopping wood, plant mutations, character customization, quests, weather, day/night, home decorating, cooking, and crafting.
It’s still being worked on, so some things will change and new features will be added, but I’d really like feedback from people who play a lot of cozy games.
