I messed up. Please help.

Hi. This is my first year as a coach, and I coach at a pretty prestigious club for U9 girls. Today I was told by my opponent that if I lost this game, I would be moving down a division, (my club was aware, I was not). I was pretty flustered by this bc we won two games and lost two by a few goals, game was balanced just one or two bad mistakes that lead to a goal.

I always play fair playing, however this game we were down 4-1 and I made the decision to play to win. At one point, I told one of my players that we were moving down a division. (This was my mistake) and at the post game, I was pretty upset at the lost, but not necessarily my girls. I told the girls we were going to be moving down divisions and I'm sorry for not playing fairly. I think the girls took this as I was upset at them bc I probably didn't think about my words. I own up to this dearly. Parents messaged me saying their daughters were crying after the game, and I profusely apologized. Now parents are asking for a team meeting so they can talk to me about how to speak to their girls.

How do I even come back from this. I feel like I lost my parents trust. I normally have a great relationship with my girls, and am very positive. Multiple parents send me emails about how well I treat the girls and how much they love the game bc of my training/coaching. I used to be very confident I was a good coach, but now I'm second guessing myself. I love coaching, but I don't want to do more harm than good.

I would love some advice at 24

I know I'm very lucky...I've been put in a lot of great positions but I need some help as I don't trust my parents for investing. I have 50k in my retirement 15k 401k, and 35k in Roth (I started when I was 21). My Roth is maxed out this year...and I do 10% of my salary to my 401k. I have 30k in cash and 10k in my checking.

What do I do with the cash? I make 100k a year and my overall expenses are pretty low (3k a month), but I just need someone to tell me what to do please.

Thank You AO

This is my first time going to an AO event but have been a fan for over 10 years. And I just want to say thank you to everyone, especially the drummer for making Seattle light up with energy.

I bought a new camera and slightly am an amateur photographer but I wanted share some photos. My boyfriend and I will never forget this day because of you. Thank you ❤️❤️

We went to the game but we will forever remember this part.

Where to live?

Hey All -

I grew up on Long Island, and officially moving to NYC from Seattle after my partner took a new job. I'm not sure where to live and hoping someone can help. He's going to work in Hudson Yards, and I'll work on 53rd and Lex. He needs to be within 30 min transportation of Hudson yards and I would love to be near any subway so I can see friends and be able to walk around the city. We are both in our early 20s so we would love to be somewhere that reflects that (not a need)

We 100% need a one bedroom, and would like it to be more than 600 sqft. (Hopefully) On that note our budget is 7k a month total.

Is there anywhere that you guys would recommend?
