I think I went overboard

It's been about 10 years since I had a tama. About 3 weeks ago, I decided to buy a paradise and then this happened 🫣

I'm trying to unlock the special character for my jade forest tama. Everything I've researched says that one of my cell icons must be not a onigiri. This particular tama, I've fed 3 chashu and 3 big meat but I keep getting onigiris. What am I doing wrong?

I've done a bunch of research into special characters, but I've got some specific questions that haven't been answered anywhere. I'm hoping someone here will be able to help.

To get the special characters, do all 3 Tamas have to be in the teen stage, or just the one you want evolved? Eg. Can my jade forest be a teen and the other two be adults?
If I've unlocked my special character and it does/moves on, will I be able to get it again without connecting to 2 other Tamas?
