Hello Visual Kei community, Byoka (病化) here!I’m making this post to let you know that the new Spotify account under the name "Torikabuto" (spelled in Latin letters) is highly likely the band's official new account. While there is no official statement from the band yet, there is strong evidence supporting this:1. The Green Download Icon & ISRC ProofDigital tracks have a unique digital fingerprint called an ISRC (International Standard Recording Code). The green download icon proves this is a legitimate account. Spotify immediately recognized the original audio files from the previous account, which is why the download status carried over. A fake account could never replicate these exact ISRCs, and Spotify would not recognize the files.2. The 2026 Release YearSeeing "2026" as the release year might look suspicious at first glance, but it actually points to an official re-release. Following multiple lineup changes in 2025, the band’s distribution rights were most likely restructured. The 2026 date indicates a relicensing of their older catalog, allowing them to legally re-upload their songs to this new account.3. A Complete Back CatalogEvery single release is back online in flawless audio quality. A fake account would typically only upload the most popular hits to farm streams quickly. The fact that their entire discography is available is a huge indicator of an official account.4. TORIKABUTO’s Current PopularityWhile TORIKABUTO is not completely unknown, they are still a relatively small band within the Visual Kei scene. Creating a fake account to make money simply wouldn't be worth the effort. The band's current streaming numbers wouldn't generate the high revenue that scammers usually target.
