As of October. I will have been playing Guitar, For one year.

Working towards a 3D surround rig.

I will have been playing guitar. For one year as of October 8th.

I have been collecting & working towards a stereo surround rig.

With the following Signal Path & Routing. In hopes that it would be super spacey & clean.

Guitar to Front-End (Mono)

Guitar: Yamaha Revstar RSS20 or RSS02T.

First Stage: JHS Coyote.

Tuning: Boss TU-3w Tuner.

Gain & Distortion: JHS Double Dragon, JHS Morning Glory (Clean), JHS Packrat.

Dynamics: JHS Pulp’N’Peel V4.

Destination: Front Left (L) Mono Input of primary Roland JC-40.

FX Loop Send: JC-40 Send line out into,

Modulation & Time: JHS Lucky Clover, JHS Haunting Mids, JHS Unicorn V2, JHS Kodiak, JHS Emperor V2.

Loop Return: Stereo out to split Left & Right returns, In back into the primary JC-40.

Wet Expansion: Line Outs from the primary JC-40 routed into the FX Return Lines. Of a secondary stacked Roland JC-40.

Ambiance: Roland JC-40 onboard Dimensional Chorus enabled on both units.

Power Conditioning & Ground Loop Defense

Ground Defense: 3 iFi GND Defender Hum Eliminators deployed on both JC-40s and the Truetone 1 Spot CS-11 power supply.Routed into Morley Hum extractors in 3 ports. Across a Black Lion PG-Plus Conditioner & Surge Protector.

Isolated DC Power:

Two iFi iPower2 5V supplies powering iFi Defender + CC's. iFi iPower X 12V supplies powering remaining units and the recording interface. Routed into Morley Hum extractors in 3 ports. Across a Black Lion PG-Plus Conditioner & Surge Protector.

Recording & Isolation

Microphone: Rode SoundField NT-SF1 Ambisonic Microphone.

Interface: Tascam US-4x4HR powered by an iFi iPower X 12V.

Software: N-Track Pro running the SoundField Plugin on a mobile device/tablet via USB recording 4-channel stereo.

Physical Isolation: Two stacked Auralex GreatGRAMMA V2 isolation risers separating the vertically stacked, forward-facing JC-40 combo amplifiers from floor resonance and cabinet-to-cabinet coupling.

The bottom row, Is right to left. Into the front of the amp.

The top is also right to left. Send line into stereo return channels.
