Eclipses and the Nodes

I notice that the Solar eclipse in Leo is happening with the moon also in Leo and the South Node in Leo. I understand that the eclipses happen approximately where the Sun and Moon conjunct closest to the nodes and for Lunar Eclipses I believe I remember it being within about 15 degrees of the node.

So - a couple of questions.

  1. Do eclipses alternate? For example this round we have the solar eclipse first and then the lunar, but does it ever happen the other way around?

  2. How often are the nodes in different whole sign houses than the moon when lunar eclipses occur like will happen later in August with the moon in Pisces and the North Node in Aquarius.

  3. Should we look for the Aquarian Node - the head of the dragon, I believe (?) - to have a “flavoring” effect on the coming Lunar eclipse in Pisces?

Jupiter Conjunct Natal Jupiter

Soon Jupiter will be conjunct my natal Jupiter (which was Rx at my birth) at 8 degrees Leo. I am wondering how others might interpret this transit and how I might make the best use of this once every 12 year energy.

Fireworks Charters?

Wondering if any of the charter boats are doing tours for fireworks? This is our first year in the OBX during 4th of July weekend. Realizing it might be too late, but thought it might be worth asking here.

Anyone Up For a House Swap? AVL for OBX?

My family is booking an OBX vacation this summer and my mom/sister and family are coming in From Texas. However, we live in Asheville and would like to bring our dogs. We have an (obviously) dog friendly home in South Asheville and were wondering if anyone might have an interest in visiting Asheville and trading places for the week of July 4th. We also have a cat that would need sitting and you can feel free to water the garden. Super easy access to the Mountains to Seas trail right from the front door. 10-15 minutes from everything in AVL.

We would be looking for an (obviously) dog friendly place in the north OBX - Corolla is where mom's rental is.
