In my opinion. Wind based sailing is an essential part of the golden age of piracy. AT SOME POINT. Not immediately!!! Not Hyper realistic. Something Like Sea of Thieves… It’s why most pirates chose the Brig over any other Ship. I know it’s not to everyone liking. Bigger ships would be slower against the wind and faster with it. Smaller ships would be better against the wind. You could outrun bigger ships and out maneuver them.

I think it would be really cool for them to add a version of Liars dice to the game. Even if it’s just decoration “Of course it would be awesome to play it in game” but I would understand if it’s just a decoration item
