I'm playing against Tau and maybe custodes with this list, and I'm not trying to run any Ctan in a 1k game.

The idea is to sit my necron blob on the mid objective while the Hexmark destroyer hangs around the Heavy Destroyers to give them the +1 to hit and deter them getting targeted. Although im debating givining up the Phasal Subjugator to get the nether-realm casket on my Overlord.

Deathmarks were just to sit on the home objective and get some free shooting for when my opponent inevitably deepstrikes something back there.

The main worry is I don't have enough units, and my second skorpekh lord with EDM is redundant

Also, idk about giving the hexmark the phasal subjugator since it restricts where I want him to be. I've been debating dropping the solo Skorpekh lord, putting EDM on the other one, and picking up another unit.

Also, is Rapid Ingressing a Hexmark to punish a shooting + charge phase as good as it looks on paper?

The main worry is I have too many characters. I've been debating dropping the solo Skorpekh lord, putting a nether realm casket on my noble, and then picking up another squad of something for the past 100 pts.

For context, I've played a few 500 pt games, and my local group has a few guys also pretty competitive, although they aren't die hard.

There's 2 knight players, a Tau, a Black Templar, a gene stealer, and a really good custodes player.

I'm worried I don't have enough anti-tank or scoring units.

I already have the hellblasters and dreadnought, so I'd prefer not to drop those.

I realize 11th edition is arriving soon, and the new plasma detachment for DA might be impactful, but we all don't seem super eager to switch immediately to 11th once it releases.

I know people are tired of list posts, but I need some help.

I'm a new player, and I've played a few 500 pt games already. I'm trying to plan out a 2k list to start working towards, and I'm having trouble deciding the last 440 pts.

A second squad of Intercessors seems like a good idea since I don't have much chaff or anti-chaff.

An aggressor or eradicator squad to pair with my captain seems like a good option.

A second squad of Deathwing Knights sounds fun.

I also don't really have a lot of vehicles and no mounted units. A Gladius Lancer could be a very useful addition.

At this point, I just keep going in circles while weighing options.

For context on my local scene, there is a genestealer player, 2 knight players, a black templar player, a tau player, and a very good custodes player.
