Poco X8 Max owners—how is the battery life, heating, and camera? Worth it as an overall package?

Hey everyone,

I’m seriously considering picking up the Poco X8 Max, but I wanted to get some real-world feedback from people who have actually been using it as their daily driver. I'm from india also please tell me where are you from and please tell me how many days you have used it?

Specifically, I’d love to know:

* Battery Life: How many hours of Screen-On Time (SOT) are you realistically getting? Does it comfortably last a full day?

* Heating Issues: Does the phone get uncomfortably hot during normal tasks, fast charging, or gaming?

* Camera Quality: How does it perform in daylight and low-light conditions? Are the photos sharp, or is there a lot of aggressive processing?

* Overall Package: Are you happy with the software, performance, and build quality for the price? Any annoying bugs or dealbreakers I should know about?

Would you recommend it, or should I look at other options? Appreciate any honest reviews or insights you can share!

Project Hail Mary (2026). Honestly, the emotional bond between Grace and Rocky completely blew me away

I watched Project Hail Mary today and wow... I am still trying to process what I just witnessed. I went in expecting a standard sci-fi space survival movie, but it turned out to be so much more. The movie is visually stunning.

The space sequences, the ship design, and how they showed the alien environment—everything looks absolutely gorgeous. It reminded me a bit of Interstellar with how massive and beautiful the space shots are, but the colors and lighting here feel very unique. But what really makes this movie a masterpiece is the emotional core. It shows a connection between Grace and Rocky in a totally new way that I haven't seen in sci-fi before. They come from completely different worlds and don't even speak the same language, but the way their friendship grows through pure trust and scientific problem-solving is so heartwarming. Rocky completely stole my heart. The second half takes a massive turn, and the emotional payoff by the end actually made me super teary-eyed. Ryan Gosling also did an amazing job playing a goofy, brilliant guy who is just trying his best.

My only regret is that I watched it at home today on my 55-inch TV. Don't get me wrong, it looked great, but throughout the movie, I kept wishing I had gone to a theater to experience it on a big screen, It absolutely deserves to be seen on the biggest screen possible. For those who have seen it, how did you feel about the communication scenes between Grace and Rocky? Let's discuss...
