Watching RCE play Timberborn inspired me to play again

Starter to watch RCE latest Timberborn series and he is planning to build his complete colony in a 12x12 floor plan by using the 6x1 overhangs. this inspired me to try this and start a playthrough by using this method. It works great for the well being since all the decoration works infinite on the Z axis. This is my progress so far. I love these busy beavers!

Need training tips

The 3x3x3 cube became a fidget toy for me. I still use a beginners methode of solving the cube:

- make a cross (will become bottom)

- botom corners and middle lair.

- top cross

- top corners

I avarage about 45-33 seconds with this methode. But I struggel to find a nice training page/video on how to solve it differently and how to improve my time by lowering the number of required turns.

Does anyone have a good resource, internet page or video guide on how to improve?
