GKTech Tie Rods and Soild Steering Rack Bushings

Decided to finally fix my bump steer and replace my shot tie rod ends as a result of dropping the car 2 inches and said MIGHT AS WELL replace the steering rack bushings with solid bushings. TIP if you don't have a press or don't feel like hammering the bushings in, freeze them and use a C clamp they go in like BUTTER.

Oil Pressure Gauge Installed

Car has 145k on it and felt it was necessary to get an oil pressure gauge to monitor the psi. Went with a Prosport JDM 52mm gauge and got the gauge pod for Oz Gauge Pods. Highly recommend both, very easy install.

Subframe Bushings/ Need Opinions

Need some opinions on my subframe bushings, 2013 RWD Vr30 trans swapped. The past 3 weeks upon downshifts in manual mode there's a slight jerk nothing crazy but noticeable. And for quite some time the rear end feels very floaty upon sharp turns or on the highway.

I've installed GK Tech solid diff bushings been about 2-3 months with them and I also have their diff brace as well prior to the bushings. The floating rear end kinda started happening a little while after diff bushings install

I looked under the car yesterday and inspected everything, drive shaft fine, diff and all bolts tight and none loose, shocks fine as well. I used a pry to see if the subframe would move and it had some play but not crazy, one of the front bushing did look like it's been cracking. And the jerking on downshifts only happens in the day time when it's hot outside never really at night. I'm leaning towards subframe bushings being done plus it's a 16 yr old car.

So what you guys think🧙‍♂️🧙‍♂️🧙‍♂️

Amazing Junkyard Find

Been gathering parts for a manual swap and got a manual diff pinon flange from a g35, there $180 brand new paid $15. Used a $25 dollar gear puller set from harbor freight to get it off, remember always check your local junkyards🫪🫪.
