Hi , I recently switched to a UX7, and I really like it so far. However, I'm having trouble getting good Wi-Fi coverage throughout my house.

My home is a new build, 2 story townhome ~ 1,900 sq ft. Unfortunately, the builder didn't install any Ethernet, coax, or TV port, so everything has to be wireless. The UX7 is located in the utility room on the second floor, roughly in the middle of the house. The utility room also contains the HVAC and dryer.

On 5 GHz (Channel 153), most of my devices see around -70 to -80 dBm, and on 6 GHz (Channel 53), they're usually around -80 to -90 dBm, which seems pretty weak.

A few questions:

Is there anything I can do to improve the signal strength?

Would changing Wi-Fi channels make a noticeable difference? If so, what channels would you recommend for 5 GHz and 6 GHz?

Is the UX7 simply not the right choice for my setup? If not, what's a good single router alternative that can reliably cover a ~1,900 sq ft, 2-story home with a 1 Gbps and about 5 Wi-Fi 7 devices?

I considered a mesh system, but it feels like overkill for a house this size , especially since I'd have to use wireless backhaul.
