There is a vast difference between the exaggerated fantasy of human art and the actual structure of dragons. Contemporary human art tends to inflate proportions purely for dramatic visual impact (such as massive heads three times the height of a person), completely ignoring biomechanics, muscle mass, wingspan, and the essential counterweight of the tail. From a draconic perspective, these representations are overly dramatic: true anatomy relies on a precise balance between agility, strength, and lift. Likewise, there is a lower limit to their scale; compressing a dragon to the size of a miniature dog is biologically impossible, as there would be no skeletal or muscular surface area to anchor functional wings or balance a tail.
