Anyone done a thumbstick replacement on a Hori pad FPS plus?
picked up a decent used example on ebay a few weeks ago and while it appears everything is functional, it certainly seems like it lived a life. Have already done a fair amount of cleanup on the controller, but the thumbsticks are at the point they are permanently sticky. From what I can tell, there seems to be some mostly universal sizes for them, outside of n64/hall effect stuff.
wondering if anyone has had any experience taking this particular controller apart. I'm pretty technically apt but this would be new territory for me. To clarify, just wanting to swap the thumbsticks, not the whole analog stick unit. Was looking at picking up a pack of them with tools from Tomsin off amazon and giving it a go. The little info I could find leads me to believe they use the same size as xbox one/ps4 for these controllers.
