my vision is so cooked without glasses that i spent 10 mins talking to some random guy in the lineup thinking he was my friend... only realized when he looked at me super confused. lost my contacts during a wipeout earlier so i was basically surfing blind. anyone else with awful eyesight struggle with this or am i just dumb?
getting ready for my advanced open water soon but my vision has gotten so much worse this year. my big fear is losing my mask underwater or getting separated from my buddy and not being able to read my gauge or see hand signals.
for anyone who started diving with bad vision what did u actually do? custom mask, contacts, or fix your eyes completely? would love to know what worked best long term
the daily commute kills me, but coming home is worse. cooking, looking after my bedridden partner, kids stuff, and then staring at a sink full of dishes and damp uniforms that wont dry because of the rain. i don’t even have the brain capacity left to figure out what to cook tomorrow.
