FET getting pushed back because my uterine lining is ‘not baseline’

Just a little frustrated and wondering if anyone else has faced something similar. I was supposed to have my FET at the end of this month and went in today for my baseline appointment. I’ve been on birth control for a little over 2 weeks now. While my estrogen and progesterone levels came back at what they would expect for baseline, I was told my uterine lining was too thick to begin estrace at 7 mm.
They are having me stop the birth control to trigger a withdrawal bleed with the hope of thinning things out, but I’m worried. My lining at baseline through my IUI journey was always around 7. I don’t know if I’ve ever known it to be thinner.
had a normal HSG just last week, no uterine abnormalities.
Has anyone else run into anything similar? And how did your clinic handle it?

(Tw: loss, TFMR)

After a second trimester loss back in December and issues with RPOC, I was really at a low point. I finally got to a place where I was able to do a retrieval.
I had 11 retrieved, 10 were mature, 10 fertilized, and 7 made it to blast. And I finally got my long-awaited PGT-A results tonight - 6 euploids!!! I’m over the moon!
I’ve got a lot of fear to continue to work through but I have been trying to celebrate the victories as they come and it was so amazing to get that call.
