I have a lot of dry hair and the density is decreasing.
I also have a scalp condition (either dermatitis or psoriasis, the dermat never names it) for which I have been given a ketoconazole shampoo and beclotion to keep it under control

The main concern is that the dermatologist also asked me to use topical minoxidil and finasteride 5% but my father is against it saying that I should not use it. My reports were normal.

What are my options here?
