I'm going to travel to Japan and I understand Japan is the home of many bespoke/formal/artisan otaku. It is sort of similar to the United Kingdom's production of high quality goods. Is there any place that has a lot of specialty or formal clothing and item shops? Thanks.

I've been reading around that it's good to have more than one. Additionally, I've read that it's nice to have one online (I'm considering ally) and one in a physical location(s). What do I do? And what are these credit union things?
