It is scientifically proven that homosexuality is not a choice. If it were a choice, most would not want to be a homosexual since it costs a lot for many people.
Just like straight people, homosexual people have sexual need. To satisfy that need, a homosexual needs a person of his own gender, just like straight people need people of opposite gender.
But in islam, homosexuality is prohibited. Isn't Islam depriving homosexual people of their essential need? Isn't it extreme cruelty? Isn't it extreme hypocrisy since straight muslims are like 'we will satisfy our desire but we won't let you satisfy yours'?
What if someone forces you not to marry? How would you feel? Don't homosexual people feel the same way?
