Broken Wireless Brake Controller Housing - Ideas?
I'm looking for some suggestions on how I can keep my Curt Wireless Controller housing from breaking again. Vehicle is a 2020 Honda Odyssey, and trailer is a Rockwood A-122 A-frame trailer. Pictured is my current setup. The problem is that when I turn into some driveways the trailer cord puts torsional stress on the Curt controller, and it's breaking the housing. I have it taped up (for now), and it still works fine, but I want to address the cause of the stress on the controller. eTrailer suggested I suspend the cord with a flexible bungie cord, which might help take some downward force off the controller, I suppose, but is there a better way to do this?
