But the DRK and BLM insisting that you do more damage by attacking the boss directly than using the cannons resulted in every NPC dying, which makes Cuca Fera spam a Hard Stomp that will KO everyone.

I even tried explaining the damage reduction Cuca Fera has by explicitly stating my damage numbers against him versus the trash mobs that spawn during the fight. Explicitly stating it seems to be about a 95% damage reduction, if not more.

There's a lot I can understand, but ... do you guys just not look at your damage numbers? Do you not recognize the number is tinier against that boss, and perhaps you'll need to engage with the mechanics of the fight?
