You people are ungrateful

Everytime I open Reddit I am flashed with posts of "tHiS GaMe is DyIng aNd bAlAncE iS a NiGtHMaRe"

And to that - it's a MOBA? Do you think the most popular and successful MOBAs like League or Dota are perfect and don't have any balancing issues? On top of that Smite 2 is a BETA game still and they're constantly trying to make everyone happy with 2-week god ports, classic skins people want, hell they even gave us currency to use on these skins which is absolutely generous if we take a look at moat micro transactions.

So many people complain constantly but can't take a step back and reflect and ponder a bit how long things take to make. It's infuriating because I love this game and the devs are trying to give some new spice to the game that has gotten stagnant in Smite 1. I'd argue Smite 2 is already better than Smite 1, even with all its quirks and bugs - these things will get fixed, numbers can be changed, but these things take time and human effort.

I have a question about morality of purchasing the game.

Is this a Russian company or is it a company in Cyprus supported by the Russian governemnt? I know there is a lot of Russians in Cyprus, Serbia etc.

I really want to try the game out as a long HoMM 3 fan, but I am having a moral dilemma and would like someone to help me understand it better.
