From the small amount of research I've done I think it's a 70's model. It states it is an automatic PR 516 GL on the dial. Clearly the glass is quite scratched, as it was unfortunately put in a bag with his other watch and jewellery when he passed away last year.

Ideally I'd like to get it in working order so I can start wearing it myself, so just wanting to get a rough idea of what I may be up for to do so.
