I am looking for three proactive interns to join my Design and Construction firm for hands-on experience in construction, residential and commercial interior work and design. This is a "boots-on-the-ground" internship where you will see projects move from digital drawings to physical reality.

The Roles:

Architecture Interns (2)

Civil Engineering Intern (1)

Core Requirements:

Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.

Technical: Must be able to read, interpret, and prepare technical diagrams.

Documentation: Assist in maintaining DPRs (Daily Progress Reports) and project coordination.

Site Visits : Site visits are a mandatory part of the role for both Architects and Civil Engineers. You must be comfortable working on-site to oversee execution and coordination.

Compensation & Perks:

Stipend: ₹2,000 per month. (May increase based on performance)

Certification: An official Certificate of Internship upon completion.

Mentorship: Direct experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) workflows.

Location: Candidates must be based in Rourkela to facilitate regular site visits.

A few friends and I are heading out for a full day-camping session tomorrow. I know many people on this sub—especially the WFH crew or those new to the city—regularly mention how hard it is to find a good group or a spot to hang out.

We do this regularly, so we’ve got the gear and the routine down. We thought we’d open up a few spots for anyone who wants to tag along and meet new people!

About me & the group:

I’m a 29M Mechanical Engineer. Our group is a solid mix of people aged 22 to 35, ranging from students, freshers, entrepreneur to IT professionals. We’re all about good food and good conversation.

⚠️ Rules of the Camp (Please read before joining):

NO WATER ENTRY: Safety is our priority. Rourkela’s rivers/dams can be dangerous. Absolutely no one is allowed to enter the water, climb any rocks or show any stunt.

COMMUNAL EFFORT: This isn't a "service"; it's a group experience. Everyone is expected to help with the work (prep, cooking, or cleaning).

NO EGO: We are all paying equally and contributing equally. Everyone should have a friendly, respectful attitude—no one is "above" anyone else here.

THE HEAT: It’s hitting nearly 42°C. I’m bringing a 10x10 camp for shade, but only join if you can handle the sun. Bring at least 2L of water for personal use.

The Plan & Menu:

Gear: 10x10 Camp setup, Bluetooth party speaker, and full outdoor kitchen.

Starter: Live Grilled Chicken BBQ.

Main: Mutton Curry & Rice with Papad & mineral water.

Contribution: ₹ 900 per head (Covers the Mutton, Chicken, grocery, fuel, and equipment).

Details:

Time: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Tomorrow).

Transport: You must reach the spot on your own.

Location: Approx 5Km from Space Chowk (Specific location Pin will be shared in the group chat).
