This is why I will NEVER touch commitment mode

If a shuttle lands on a tile that can't support heavy structures, it sometimes will not teleport into a valid tile, deleting itself and all your colonists inside of it

no death messages no lost caravan messages

not cool

I don't remember a time when I had less worries.

Whenever I hear people talk about their childhood as a time of fewer worries and responsibilities, I cannot relate.

for as long as I remember it's been high octane stress and anxiety all throughout my life

school was a prison, say the wrong thing, get victimized, say the right thing, get victimized, I only learned much later in life that that resembles a US federal prison environment and not a school.

home was a prison, set a boundary, all hell breaks loose, do nothing, all hell breaks loose because parents were randomly in a bad mood

I did not have a "best years" I do not have nostalgia for a time when I had less worries, I do not remember a time when "all I had to worry about was the next big videogame release"

my adult life, while not what you would call ideal or very affluent, is still thousands of times better than my childhood
