2002 Ford escape. Last night I went to work and everything was working fine, the fan would work, I could turn my hot air on everything and the rear defroster was working. I live in Ohio and today was the last frost we were getting. I went to use my fan and nope nothing and when I push my button for the rear defroster it doesn't work either, the light doesn't even come on. When I turn the fan on nothing happens at all and then on top of that whenever I turn the defrost setting or any setting to blow air I just hear a hiss as if something is trying to engage but can't. It's old and I haven't had cold air ever in the car but the heat has always worked super well. Any ideas? I looked at the fuses and I'm no professional but they didn't look bad at all but this all sounds like it would be a fuse issue of some sorts (I hope 😂).

In short No idea what happened all that happened was the car sat overnight while I was at work and the fan just won't even turn on.
