Old Canon PowerShot A590 IS is showing low battery icon
| please respond |
So i just bought new batteries for my old Canon PowerShot A590 IS, theyre AA energizer max (with the red accent color) and when i turn it on, sometimes it works and i can take a few pictures, but not with flash, or sometimes i cant even take pictures, or when i try to take a picture with flash or try to zoom in, then the little red low battery icon starts flashing, or sometimes when i click the "on" button, the lens extends, the logo appears on the screen but then a second after, the lens retracts and the screen says "change the batteries". Also, this camera is really old, and as a kid obviously i didnt know its value so i played with it, threw it around and stuff, aswell as my sister, but other than that, nothing else happended as far as i know. And also while the lens is extending there are like 2 or 3 like "krrk" or "click" sounds, but thats a different conversation cuz the lens still manages to retract and extend. Also, as far as i know, the batteries were in for a long time so on the lid contacts there IS a bit of battery corrosion but i cleaned most of it and i guess i can clean the rest someday. Any ways to fix that problem? (the first one)
