She went on 3 dates in 1 day

When people talk about what radicalised me, I think about a girl i know who went on 3 dates in 1 day. Back in campus I knew this girl, very unassuming, calm and pretty church girl. She was somehow interested in me but mimi I was uninterested(pretty but not my type), and it drove her nuts.

Sasa one friday nikatoka kwenda tao and i pass by some ice cream place I saw her on a date with some guy. Later my friend also tells me the same girl alikuwa spotted uhuru park later that day with a different guy, then date ya usiku ndio alipost at a restaurant, hao ni 3 guys wamepelekana dates ivo tu. Thats why if we arent sleeping together after the 3rd date I take my efforts elsewhere.

Pro footballers are better than you think

We had a charity football tournament yesterday and we came in confident thinking ati it was going to be a routine win. Firstly because tumekuwa tukitrain, but pia we are relatively young and energetic. This was until we faced a team of guys from NSL(2nd tier of kenyan football) na sisi ni students.

Let me tell you maina we were played out the park. These guys for one are in their late 20s but wanakimbia for 90 minutes. Secondly is decision making/experience , if you take an extra half a second on the ball he has already read your mind achukue ball. Ata a heavy touch by a few cm you get outmuscled.

Im usually good for my level but niliona moto. Nilikua fullback but they attack wakiwa watatu na your winger isn't tracking back. Surprisingly we drew but tukatoka na penalties and they went on to win the whole thing, earlier in june pia they won another cup we were in...nilijiuliza sasa wa kpl/manchester united wanakaa aje.

Who is traumatizing the women?

As a guy in his early 20s, dating has become hard because girls as young as 19 are already traumatized, missing their exes and not ready for commitment or a relationship. The funny thing is most of my male friends have never been in a relationship nor had sex so the question remains hawa ni kina nani wameharibu soko?😭

Just be yourself

In a world of dating where many men are being perfomative/go out of their way to impress women with false things, being yourself has gotten me the best women in my life.

What is being yourself, it is being the most authentic, honest and genuine version of youself. What this does is allow a woman to show you her human side and trust you with her feelings and even open up to you and get attached. You learn at the end of the day they are only human not just hypergamous beings incapable of feelings

However, this only works in certain circumstances when dealing with women you want to build a future with hao wengine unakua the so called bad boy.

UKIMWI is becoming a reality

How ironic huh, the generation that grew up being sensitized about HIV/AIDS is becoming a victim to it; storytime.

I(22M) have been fwb with this girl (20F) for about 7 months now. How i managed to convince her I dont know because I have no money no apartnent just pure audacity...but she claims that i look good. She on the other hand is a 10/10. So how it works is whenever she feels bored she comes to my four cornered mansion we do the deed unprotected and sometimes just hang out.

Now she never asks me for money or anything but I have noticed some red flags. She likes partying, like almost everyday ako ibiza, quiver, alchemist getting drunk and with expensive alcohol ukimpea kc hatakunywa. She also has very many male friends and is very flirty. However they fear her because she is the head of the student body of some training institute in Nairobi( i didnt know this while approaching her)

Now I believe i have a bright future, im finishing medical school next year, i have always been top of my class and everyone looks up to me. I have seen what HIV has done to people in the ward and it is better to d*e than live such a life imo. If i get HIV i will have wasted all my potential , down the drain just for co*chie. People who know how Hiv has affected people close to them, what happened? Should I cut her off and focus on myself?

African dad love language

I am 23 and for a long time me and my dad had just the normal relationship doing little beyond saying hi. But I noticed something weird, he always was making excuses for us to hang out, chukua jembe ukuje, twende tukafix gari etc.

So today as usual he was about to go run some errands and he told me and said "ama unaeza kuja". Then it clicked, this was his way of saying I want to spend time with me, his eldest son. We had a nice day, fixed a puncture, visited a brother in school, ate lunch together and later he sent me 800 for "airtime". Long live my old man🫡

Washroom situation in the country.

I am no expert in toilets and bathrooms, but one thing that completely irks me ia how poorly planned washrooms are, even in the middle of CBD(UoN I'm looking at you). There is no water, broken cisterns, no air freshener, a constant foul smell and water leaking everywhere.

What infuriates me is how pointless the work of the cleaners is. They wash and use all sorts of products just for the washrooms to go back to smelling bad 30 minutes later. The situation gets progressively worse as you move further from the capital, kuna choo zingine ukiingia unaskia enyewe hauko nairobi. Is building nice toilets that hard? Or does the public have a hand in this situation.

Fragrance descriptions as proxies; red vs green flags

Fragrances can be subjective , but like many people with a cap on just how much we can spend on fragrances, I rely on fragrance reviews before buying fragrances. Part of the review is the words used to describe the scent. These, in my opinion are more reliable indicators of whether you will like a fragrance or not. So these are some of my "red flag" and "green flag" descriptions.

Red flag: Oud, sweet, musky, unisex(usually ends up feminine leaning) , boozy, floral, herbal/medicinal

Green flags: mass appealing, everyday, fresh, smoky, masculine, woody, dark, bergamot, lavender

Is it better to know the truth or be happy

I'm 23 and admittedly I am not an angel when it comes to women and alcohol. I have been in places I shouldnt be with people i shouldnt be with. Nimekua na wasichana wa church kwa keja, na nimekuwa na one night stands with girls who went on to get boyfriends.

Sasa my problem is the men who are naive and treat them as angels. Sisemi what they are doing is wrong but unaona a guy simping or being afraid to approach a woman or saying huyo dem haezi fanya this or that☠️

My worst kind is the ones who say a girl who they think is morally upright(according to thrir standards) cannot do this, that or the other. Bro? Uko sawa kweli? Kwani hawajui hakuna dem anaeza kaa mwezi bila mechi. Hawajui ex (ama msee ashawaigonga)hapangi line, hawajui waligongewa na a few hours. Kazi ni kuentertain madem na kufanya vitu kuwa please with dumb jokes and achievements which they dont care about😭 I believe most men live in a state of blissful ignorance and honestly, i wish i could be like them.
