Going through US customs from Korea

First time traveling back from Korea! I have purchased so many cosmetics, skincare, clothing. It’s over the US threshold for $800. Am I supposed to declare every individual thing as well as leave it unopened for customs to go through? It seems kinda excessive.

Food/takeout trash in hotel

Hi! It’s my first time in Seoul. I have food/take out trash that I took back to my room. How do I dispose of it? Is it okay to put it outside my room?

Parc Dosan Clinic - Has anyone gone here for skin treatments?

Hi! Has anyone been to Parc Dosan clinic? I haven't seen much in the online forums about them. I like that it is just one female doctor on staff and that it isn't highly marketed like some of the other clinics. I am scheduled at a couple other clinics but wondering if I should just save my face procedures until I go to Parc Dosan.

I have an appointment tomorrow at the SF passport agency. How long does it take to get your actual passport? I have travel in a few weeks 😭

Hi! Has anyone had experience going to either clinic? I have appointments with both clinics. I've heard good reviews about both clinics.I saw on one reddit post that GU may be more factory like. Their menu on their website was a bit overwhelming but I like their transparency. They also recommended a PS to me for a consult about a future procedure. I'm trying to figure out if I should go to Relieve first and do some of the more risky procedures (Thermage, scupltra) and then to GU for body sculpting. Relieve seems to be slightly more expensive but I don't mind it since it wasn't that much of a difference.

I am going to be in Seoul for the first time next month. I have multiple consultations scheduled with GU clinic, Forena, Relieve. I'm wondering what people usually do... do you go to all consults and return to the one you like best or are you doing different treatments at each clinic? Wouldn't it be best to get all your procedures done at the same one so it isn't overkill?

Hi! I am spending a week in Seoul. My goal is for skin treatments and to consult on future plastic surgery. I need tips/advice on what to do and where to stay. It will be my first time there! My planned actions are in Gangnam but that is just for my skin treatments which would only be a day or two. I am wondering if I should stay in a different area if I want to walk around and shop?

What I have planned:

  • Gu Clinic & Relieve Clinic - consults and treatments
  • Luho Clinic - Plastic surgery consultation

What I'm interested in:

  • Makeup Consultation & Lesson - where to go? I love the daoyin/Kpop look
  • Body scan/check - where to go?
  • Haircut - where to go?
  • Clothing/Shoes - What area should I go to? What stores should I check out? I am middle age but like trendy items
  • Cosmetics & Skincare - What pharmacies would you recommend and any products you love?
  • Cute matcha/coffee shops
  • Where to eat? I am not interested in the viral places unless the lines are short

What else should I do?? :) Any advice/recommendations would be much appreciated!
