I am going to join this year and the prices are quite high, so how do I save money like I saw someone say take veg food but I want non veg
I am planning to get 2AC+ Non veg
Please don't say go for pg or become a day scholar as the whole process is quite weird for me
I don't like the concept of sharing washroom and such a small room for such high fees, I am thinking of staying in pg from the first year but I have a few doubts
Will it affect my college life like clubs, hackathons, placements and friendship etc.
I live in North india so I am unaware of the Chennai culture
I saw some posts that to be a day scholar I need to have some guardian in Chennai but I only have few guardians in banglore,
Why would I pay 2.7 lakh for such a small room (I saw in yt) and that too without an attached washroom,

Due to the high hostel price and compulsory AC rooms in 1st year at Chennai campus, the cost of Cat3 chennai cse is somewhat equal or more than cat 4 vellore cse,

I am planning to join JU for B.Tech Core CSE this year. I have a 79 percentile in JEE, so I’m eligible for the 15% scholarship.
I’m waiting for my board results (should be out in 10 days) before paying the installment to lock the seat. Will Core CSE seats still be open around May 15-20?
I really want Core CSE and NOT a specialization. Does JU usually run out of Core seats this early, or am I overthinking it?
