To the lady seated beside me during the City of Toronto assessment
I sincerely hope you pass the assessment and succeed on your own merit. However, I was deeply disappointed by what I witnessed during the test. Throughout the assessment, you repeatedly used your cellphone to look up answers, which undermines the integrity of the process and is unfair to everyone who prepared honestly.
What disturbed me most was not just the cheating itself, but the apparent lack of concern for the consequences of those actions. Assessments like these are meant to reflect fairness, competence, and trust. When those values are ignored, it damages confidence in the system for everyone involved.
I genuinely hope you reflect on this and choose a better path moving forward, both for yourself and for the example you set for your children.
