26F looking for genuine friendships

Hello, I'm a 26F professional living in downtown, and I've been in vancouver for 7 years now. Most of my friends have left vancouver, and I am looking for real, healthy, long-term friendships. I'm ideally looking for people who are around the same age, live close by and are settled in vancouver ( I can't keep making friends with people who leave🤣😭) I am in a long term relationship and preferably looking to hang out with other women.

A little about me is that I am an ambivert, enjoy humor/sarcasm, and I give my full 100% attention and interest when hanging out with people and genuinely want to get to know them. I love having deep conversations or going over political, social, and scientific topics, but I also love a good tea, talk about love island, movies, and fashion. I want to ideally be in a friendship where we can eventually be comfortable to share with each other our current challenges and past experiences that make us who we are. I know it's hard to be fully oneself l, but if I'm looking for long-term friendships, that's the type of comfort I would like to have.

I really appreciate someone who is a really good listener, open-minded, can reciprocate well, and appreciate humor.

I could party and dance, but I will fall asleep by midnight. 🫠

I like reading romantasy books, taking dance classes, going to lagree, cooking, hike, have jam sessions.

I want to eventually work on my own passion projects, and it would be a plus if you are ambitious or have big goals you are determined to achieve as well.

If this is the type of friendship you're looking for as well, please dm me!

The Vancouver Romantasy Community Is Finally Live

A few months ago, I made a post asking whether there would be any interest in a Vancouver-based romantasy community, and the response was much bigger than I expected.

Well... I finally did it. 😊

The Fable Club is a new community for romantasy readers in Vancouver.

It's not a traditional book club. There are no assigned books and no pressure to finish reading before showing up.

The goal is to create cozy literary socials where readers can meet people who understand things like:
- fated mates
- staying up until 2 AM for "one more chapter"
- emotional devastation caused by fictional characters

Some event ideas we're exploring:
🍷 Romantasy cocktail/mocktail socials
☀️ Beach & picnic socials
🌙 Starfall-inspired ball nights
🖤 Morally grey Valentine's events

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, we'd love to have you.
