34M looking for a running partner/group for Saturday long runs.
I ran the BMO marathon this year and have another race planned for later this year, plus hopefully a couple half marathons next year. During BMO training I built up a solid long-run base and want to keep it going instead of losing fitness over the summer.
Looking for people interested in consistent 20–30km Saturday runs. They don’t have to feel easy — kind of the point is to challenge ourselves and improve over time.
Current average pace is around 5:30–5:45/km, with a goal to gradually get faster.
I usually run around the seawall, but during marathon training I expanded into Point Grey, South Van, etc., so I’m open to different routes around Vancouver.
Would be great to find a small group, but honestly even 1–2 consistent people would be awesome.

I am 29M looking for friends in Vancouver metro area. I am in the city for work and fun at least once every month or two for a few days. Currently living in Portland Oregon (5.5hrs away driving). I've got a couple friends who were here in Vancouver but they have unfortunately since moved. My work is in finance and I am a member of the Vancouver CFA society. Sometimes I drive and sometimes I fly depending how long I am staying.
I am in love with everything Canadian.

- Hikes/Parks Stanley park, lighthouse park and David Lam park are my favorites outside of daytrips to Squamish and Whistler

Figured I'd give this a try. I am a bit of an introvert (and admittedly, a bit of a homebody) but I'd love to make new friends, especially to go with the movies with as I very much go there regularly. So here we go! :)
Things I enjoy include:

I also enjoy gaming from time to time (currently discovering Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time!), and enjoy calls on occasion.
