What do you focus your intelligence on?

For me IQ is broader than what the norm suggests.

For me I think in order for our civilization to move forward as an intelligent species we need to implement our supposed high IQ in more areas than only focusing on ourselves.

Also this is probably an odd way of considering higher intelligence, but oh vell.

In my case I focus my time on those areas of which my IQ is the highest concentrated.

Music, positivity in social groups to increase morale and happiness for others, personal health, adding more objective inputs to conflicts at work and within my family to solve problems without escalating issues, contributing to society through charity and sharing advice and inspiring people in my surroundings to aim higher in life and possibly leading them to spread inspiration as well.

And the most important area I focus my reflective nature on is to validate the correct feelings in a situation, which allows feelings such as sadness and anger to subside quicker in order to keep a clear mind and contributing to society more effectively.

How do you approach your higher intelligence?

I probably come forth as rude or something but anywaaays..

I suspect not everyone relates to these things I'm saying but I'm curious then if you feel hit or have an interesting perspective on the matter.

On this subject I've heard an amount of quotes or other rumors that the smarter you are the more you see the negative things in this world.

The interesting thing is that I believe one should reflect on it and not let it get to you personally and just acknowledge it and then move on with your life doing what you find gives you happiness and hobbies that challenges you.

Welcome every person we meet as unique and their IQ having no influence on how we should act around them, treat them and what too expect from them.

We adapt to those we deem less intelligent than us, since they can't do that themselves.

It's easy to adopt these supposed "facts" about what it means to be intelligent and get affected by peer-pressure or that it's expected of you since you're gifted.

Almost like it's an inevitable weight that comes with being an intelligent person.

Being intelligent is entirely relative since there are so many ways in which a person can be intelligent.

And being exceptionally gifted in a certain area doesn't mean that that person is gifted in every other way.

I think it's more about being humble towards yourself and not letting a label affect your true personality.

For some reason yesterday in the night I realized that I'm causing my own pain.

It was so weird.

Like, there are no people around me who are forcing me to watch porn and no other external factors on the internet and such.

It's always been just me and only me.

For these last 20 or so years I've been tearing away on my conciousness and well-being. Gotten depressed, gotten anxiety, ended up in a psychiatric ward due to hopelessness and dark thoughts.

It's a really painful realization of mine. I'm literally the sole cause of all this and can either give up due to me being the reason and having an immense shame, or seeing this as a wake up call and taking responsibility of my actions upon my health.

I just wanted to share this situation so that others might also either realize the same thing or having already thought about it and not having to be the only one with those thoughts.

We should take care of ourselves and not hurt ourselves. In my case I can only blame myself and move forward with that realization in mind.
