Rotating car seat for low tone toddler

Hi! A have a very specific question that hours of googling can’t seem to answer.

I have a 1.5 y/o with low tone and we need a rotating car seat for our second vehicle. We already have the Cybex Callisto G as our primary. It’s great but ideally I’d like to avoid the investment for our second vehicle, which is an SUV. Dad drops bebe off in the am and I pick up in the afternoon so we need two car seats that turn because the stationary I’m using now in my vehicle has become untenable as our boy has grown.

I’m considering either the Chicco 360 or the Evenflo Gold Extend 360. The Chicco can be deeply discounted at Target with a few promotions rn but a few reviews made me a little leery of how easy it would be to turn it toward me while holding my ever growing child, who is sometimes as limp as a rag doll. Positioning for him is important (for instance he’s always been sooo uncomfortable in his doona). His cybex is great, but he’s still uncomfortable at times.

Anyone have a callisto and either the Chicco 360 or Evenflo 360? Or anyone with a low tone baby/toddler who loves their car seat?

Ring slings - which ones are worth the price

I’m testing out a Hope and Plum ring sling that my friend let me borrow and can confirm it’s great for us! My little guy is 14 months and on the lighter side. He loooooves to be held and the ring sling feels a lot more comfortable for us and our needs vs. our other carriers (ego, happy baby).

My dilemma is that I have a hard time justifying the price of a H&P when we’re only going to be using for quick outings. I know they retain resale value but I’m also one of those people who fears that by the time I go to sell they’ll be totally out and then I overpaid for something no one wants. I’m interested in shopping second hand, because the earth, and am wondering what people have to say about the ring slings that go for less than $100. I’m in a FB market where there are tons of wild birds but little else.

I know some of these brands have obsessive followers so if you’re a die-hard that only uses one, I’ll kindly decline the accolades. But! If you’re a momma who’s tried an array of ring slings at different price points: please help a girl out!
