question is there such a thing as lab grown turquoise?

On TikTok, there’s been a discourse going around about an owner of a turquoise mine who is sending Bomb Party (an MLM company that specializes in surprise blind bag-like jewelry reveals) turquoise jewelry as they label their turquoise products as turquoise magnesite, and he’s speculating that there is no actual magnesite and that it’s just resin.

Anyway, many Bomb Party reps have argued over the existence of lab-grown turquoise, and while there has been a 2024 study of the preparation of synthetic turquoise pellets (https://doi.org/10.1590/PPJA9080), I haven’t seen anything about lab-grown turquoise.

Upon researching, I also came across this article by
Shelby Gems Factory: https://www.shelbygemfactory.com/unraveling-the-science-of-lab-grown-turquoise-unveiling-the-captivating-hues/

which describes the process of lab-grown turquoise. Since the source sells these turquoise, I was wondering about the validity of the process that they have laid out. Thank you!

jenn posted the ryze starter kit prices 🫩

when compared to the bp starter kit you get so much less 🧍🏻‍♀️

edit: the difference is that ryze party is solid sterling but its more so the comparison in the start up cost and the inventory that you receive with that investment. higher price point to start the business would realistically result in higher failure rate

it’s not the jewelry guys it’s you

someone came in and asked if the jewelry would turn your skin green, and the rep said it shouldn’t, but it doesn’t mean it won’t. then they said if it does, it’s usually due to a chemical imbalance in your skin, and to put clear fingernail polish on to prevent it from tarnishing, basically insinuating that if the jewelry turns your skin green, it’s your fault and not due to the low quality of BP jewelry. 👀

For this reaction what does the “then H+” mean? Is the mechanism for this reaction correct or was I supposed to use the H+ or is it just there for acidic conditions?
