Hello!

Im a silver buyer/collector and recentl came into a beautiful piece.

The silver hallmarks indicate this was made by Paul Storr, a very renowned silversmith in 1814.

It has, i believe, marks indicating it commemorates a marriage between an Egerton(not using his noble title) and a Windham heiress.

I know 0 about the art of arms and what i may be missing, but given the status of the silversmith, my guess is its an expensive commission that was made to commemmorate some significant event.

Any clues as to what this event might be? Insights? Im enjoying the research rabbit hole very much but am guessing a bit at this point.

Any info is welcome
Thanks!
