Loved seeing Lewis on the podium, but let’s not carried away after today.
The drive was excellent, especially the tyre management, but Ferrari still is way behind on the competition. Mercedes are clearly in a different league, and when McLaren execute a clean weekend they still look very strong too.
Canada was a good result, but it also came with Russell retiring and McLaren messing up their race. Similar story with some of our other strongest weekends this season.
Nothing wrong with being happy about a P2. Just feels more like Lewis extracting everything possible from the car. We need that powertrain upgrade. Hope Monaco gives us a level playing field.
