Prazosin induced paranoia?

I was previously on 1 mg of Prazosin for nightmares, felt absolutely nothing and experienced no changes, so my psychiatrist boosted me to 2 mg. Now, 10-20 mins after taking the dose, an extreme paranoia sets in and I feel wide awake. It makes my heart pound.

I haven’t seen anybody else talk about this so I’m curious if anybody else has experienced it. My therapist said that it may just be general anxiety about the med itself (I have a big medication fear), but I don’t really know what to think.

Question about septum stretching timeline

To preface: my body heals pretty quickly. I've had 8 piercings, 2 tattoos, and 1 major surgery, and all of them healed much faster than the projected timeline.

I got my septum pierced with a 16g ring on April 15, 2026. I never had a "crusty phase" and was only tender for a week after. I could press on my nose with virtually no pain after that week.

I swapped my jewelry to a 14g pincher on May 11. I had slight discomfort taking the 16g ring out, but zero discomfort or tightness when putting the pincher in. I can still squash my nose flat and feel no pain.

My goal size is 12g or 10g (depending on whether I'm satisfied with 12g), but I don't really know how to go about stretching it, given I heal pretty fast and the smaller sizes are easier to size up than the larger ones. I want to size up ASAP because anytime I inhale too deeply, I smell the rubber pieces that keep the pincher in place, and it's driving me nuts. I already have a 12g bar and I don't have a ton of money to spend on new jewelry.

When can I size up?

[UPDATE] experiencing intense full body tremors

https://www.reddit.com/r/Lamotrigine/s/rCYv7s3ana

I was having a bad reaction to my 25 mg Lamotrigine and am now bedridden with intense waves of full body chills and tremors. I cannot stand without ticcing like a maniac. I’ve never had anything this severe before. Is there something I can take immediately to alleviate this?

Immediate adverse effects???

I was started on 25 mg 5 days ago for bipolar symptoms and feel like absolute shit. Before this, I was on Zoloft which put me through a psychotic episode and then Lexapro which didn’t do anything at all. Since starting the Lamotrigine I almost IMMEDIATELY got hostile, paranoid, and erratic. I don’t know if this is an adverse effect of the medication or if I am having a sporadic episode. Can Lamotrigine have this immediate negative effect???? What should I do????
