Yes, this was taken from Eureka Tower.

As you can see, these 3 crates of records are pretty full and the lean is about as minimal as you can get. I hadn't played any of these for a while, and earlier in the week, I fired up the decks to have a mix.
The first record I slapped on the decks was from the middle of a crate had a wild warp in it. Like it had been eeeeeever so slightly folded in half. It wasn't a record I was super fond of so literally tossed it on the floor to deal with later.
So I pulled out another from nearby. Same issue. WTF?! I pull out 4 or 5 more from various places ... all warped the same to varying degrees. Possibly playable, but far far from ideal.
Fuck me! Have I just lost about a fifth of my entire collection?!?! I queried the internet for ways to fix warped records in bulk. It was a big job no matter how you approached it.
Literally just gave up and pretended it didn't happen.
This morning I picked that record up off the floor and threw it on the TT for a reality check. It was flat & level once again. Back to normal. So I checked some more. All of them fine. I felt like I'd been tripping earlier in the week.
For reference, there is a window off to the side that gets afternoon sunlight, but I generally have the blinds down. Also, it's the middle of winter.
This sub tends to enjoy photos of our fair city itself ... so here is one of them that I have taken,..
This was taken the second day in a row I made the trek up to this location. The day before had about 10m of visibility at the most, with cold winds, ice and snow whipping around me. It's amazing what difference 24 hours can make.
Yea, I know it's been and gone but I only bothered checking my photos today
The CD single is where the alt versions were. The "B-sides". The bonus tracks. The other non-album tracks. The remixes. The versions. For many artists theses were essential for going beyond the albums.
Has anyone else here noticed that their works are being republished here? In the last month or so I've had a couple of photos reposted with exactly the same title as the original post that was posted here a couple of years ago or so.
I'll call it out in the comments section and on this occasion I've messaged the mod here. The reddit post reporting process is tedious and I'm just not going to go down that path because it's a different account every time.
On the flip side of course it's nice to see my images getting more appreciation & recognition. I don't care about the karma, but I do want credit where credit's due.
Dub is a thread that joins many artists and albums I enjoy. This is small a cross section of the more direct dub influenced releases.
I've gotta get out here more and find those hidden locations cos the views towards the mountains as the sun goes down and the clouds settle into the hills is quite delightful
Finally the full version on an official release.
The album itself is pretty much another "greatest hits" compilation with a list of the usual candidates with "Wot's ... uh the deal" slipped in as a bit of a leftfield selection.
The tracks are mildly segued into each and I'd say this would be a good introduction to the band for those who are oblivious to their catalogue.
Link to Pigs on the Wing on Spotify (cos despite it being a shit platform that's probably what the majority of people still use here): https://open.spotify.com/track/2v8YjRvFlvmqYRs4uZwd2W?si=c073689ffddf4452
Our business is M365 and Zendesk (amongst other things).
We're not really interested in triage or generating replies or gauging sentiment. Out biggest issue is when an issue is spread across multiple tickets and Zendesk search functionality means sifting through multiple tickets to understand WTF is going on.
So to that end I developed an API to plug Copilot (company's default AI tool) into Zendesk so we can just jump into Teams and say "hey, what's going on with Barry Smith's order" and get a useful summary of the ticketing info. But also ask questions like "Hey what agent Joe Smith been busy with this week?" .
What platforms and plugins are you all leaning on (and how) to get a better insight into all your Zendesk goings on?
DISCLAIMER - this is not all strictly ambient music.
With that out of the way, this is a compilation that I stumbled upon in the early 90s and was a gateway to exploring a number of new artists as well as enjoying some artists I was already familiar with.
Obviously there a bit of a crop, and then there's 7 different masks applied here to control various areas of the shot to tame & boost colours and texture.
