Looking for some guidance. I hooked up this Midea window unit today and it's dripping quite a bit (it's 95 degrees where I'm at).

Has anyone hooked up a hose for the run off? Forgive me if it's a dumb question but I would like to do that and run it around the door fram at the bottom of the picture. If so, was the hose larger than the drain plug hole which basically acts as a funnel and send the water down the hose? If I went with a hose that fits in hole, will that cause a pooling issue?

So far it's working great and on sale at Costco for 300.

Need some help on fitting my 6 year old who has a big head. I want to put him in something with better protection as he's entering U8 travel next season.

Current situation: expired CCM FL40 Small and CCM small cage that was a hand me down. Fits perfect but according to the VT helmet study, he might as well be wearing a paper bag on his head. If it's me, I don't care and am wearing the helmet anyone's but it's different for my kid.

Went to Pure and the CCM Tacks 720 Senior small fit him perfect. The issue is when we got home, the cages I have (CCM that's pictured and Bauer Prodigy cage) seem to be the smallest on the market and now there is almost a 2 inch gap between the cages chin cup and where his chin actually is.

Bauer's don't seem to fit him right. I have a Bauer Prodigy that fits decent but the cages chin hits at the mouth. I'd rather not get a bigger cage for the Bauer as his bigger rounder head seems to to fit CCM better.

Does anyone know if any helmets on the market (or semi recent models) fit similar to the CCM FL40?

I guess next step would be going to Pure or Hockey Monkey with all my helmet and cages to try and mix and match.
