Welcome to our monthly music thread!

Whether you’re stuck in a Drum and Bass kick, trapped in a Trance state, or your neck is permanently sore from a new Dubstep banger, we want to know!

How this works

This is more than just a way to discuss what you’re obsessed with right now, It’s a way to show who you want to see at the Emerald Forest next year.

  • Drop a comment with the track and artist you just can't get out of your head this month.
    • They don't have to be on the lineup this year.
  • Upvote the songs, and artists, you love.
  • See the result. At the end of the month we will take the top voted comment and nominate them to the DFT team for next year’s lineup.

Monthly Music Drops [July Edition]

Hey Forest Fam!

As we get closer to the Emerald City, I wanted to make sure we aren't missing any of the heat our 2026 artists are dropping. To make it easier for everyone to stay updated, I'll be curating a monthly playlist featuring new releases from artists on this year's lineup.

Whether you're prepping your Z hands for Zeds Dead, catching those GRiZ vibes, or diving into INZO, this list has you covered.

This playlist will drop on the second Monday of the month (or whenever I get to it 🙃) and include drops from the previous month. This post in August contains drops from July!

Considering swapping from Seven Stars

My wife and I bought tickets to Valley of the Seven Stars this year. Once I saw the Lost Lands lineup, I was convinced. So I'm considering swapping SS for LL.

• We are both going to Dancefestopia the weekend before but it's a local fest for us.

• I went to Seven Stars last year and it was a phenomenal experience.

• This would be our first Lost Lands

• If we keep the Secen Stars it would be my wife's first time

• We have a work friend going to Lost Lands.

• I could actually save a PTO day by changing to Lost Lands.

What else should I consider for this? Is this a good idea? Would a Seven Stars ticket be considered of relatively equal value?

Bought the car in Oct 25.

It's my own fault. You do one single stupid thing you never do otherwise and the universe said it was my turn to learn that lesson.

Less than 100k on the clock too. Hoping to get some money out of parts.
