Guy at my local likes to "reset" the deck because it happened to him that he drew 3 ash in the same opening hand or something.
He takes out all the non-engine and shuffles it again. By making 8 stacks and then taking those and shuffling again.
Does this really improve his odds?

Is there a ruling that prevents multiple activation in any of the phases?
I saw sometimes around the last year a FPS with pixel graphics (maybe not) with absurd themes. It looked almost like Ultrakill but I don't remember the protagonist being a robot. I remember it was about greed and how a god descended on earth... It looks close to Cruelty Squad but I don't that's it.
I remember I saw it in a video essay on YouTube about its lore, never played it myself.
