Battlefield top tip: If you spawn on a squadmates spawn beacon and it's hidden or in a great flanking spot; do not immediately start shooting and drawing attention to yourself. Get away from it first before you start shooting. This lessen the likelyhood of the other team spotting and destroying it.

Again, one of these these things that you would think would be common sense.

If you spawn on a spawn beacon and there isn't an immediate reason to start shooting (which is someones shooting at you, not you seeing someone), get away from it first. If possible try getting out of the building first and in a better spot away, before you start shooting.

This lessens the likelyhood of the spawn beacon being detected and destroyed. This way you and your team can keep spawning there and keep on pushing from the flank.

Obviously this goes for spawn beacons that are hidden or behind the opposite team.

How to balance the little bird without screwing over other air.

I don't think it's an understatement that the little bird is quite OP in it's current state, where other air struggles (attack heli) or is just fine (jets).

Currently the attack heli is completely overshadowed by the little bird, it's miniguns in combination with the light rockets can destroy an attack heli within seconds.

Against infantry, most of the time they too don't have a chance unless they catch the LB unaware in a static AA or a lucky RPG shot. It's so manoeverable it can easily stay in below radar and run away from damage that it's so easy to just survive. Then with it's light rockets it destroys infantry before they can even react.

Normally the AA tank would be a counter to this, but the AA tank itself can't go too far into the map because it has no defence against almost anything. Buffing it's main gun velocity would also screw over the other aircraft so I don't think that's appropriate.

Personally I would see to two things.

Infantry : Give them for LMG's armor piercing rounds. That sacrifices a little damage/dmg drop off to infantry to give them a lot more damage to low armor vehicles (jeeps and little bird, jets). The attack heli and tanks are unaffected.

Attack heli: Change back to 2 Hrockets/3Srockets/5Lrockets can destroy a little bird. This allows it to at least fight back, but still allows the little bird to have the advantage.

I think adding those changes would at least turn the balance for the little bird, as currently it's just too easy to go 50-1 100-1. I say this as someone that consistently goes those numbers.

Things like these should just be common sense; but often I still see people just plant them at A or B instead of driving forwards and grabbing C or D.

If you grab C and D, not only do you start the game with more points, you already have a further spawnpoint active. Let the slower vehicles + infantry grab the closets points.

It can give your team a head start.

When I fly over a base the CRAM absolutely destroys my plane, yet when I goad the enemy over my own base it doesn't even fire?!

Not all matches of course, but for example, Mirak Valley has a huge difference on how the CRAM reacts per HQ.
